‘Iksoi’ album review by Lucky Ali (Xsuie)

Lucky Ali’s long-awaited album ‘Iksoi’ was finally released in September 2009. ‘Iksoi’ means heading towards a definite direction and at the same time enjoying every moment of the journey.

‘Iksoi’ comes after a gap of 5 years and Lucky fans must be eagerly awaiting it. Earlier, there were rumors about the release of the album, but its release was delayed for some unknown reason. But now, the album is finally out.

Before ‘Iksoi’, Lucky Ali has given many moving albums to his fans. His first pop albums ‘Sunoh’, ‘Sifar’ and ‘Aks’ were well received by music lovers and ‘Iksoi’ also looks promising.

The album has 9 tracks in total, which are as follows:

1) ‘Ik myself’

2) ‘Oh Raahi’

3) ‘Say yes’

4) ‘Hone De’

5) ‘Salam’

6) ‘Dil Gaaye Jaa’

7) ‘Duniya ke Samundar Mae’

8) ‘Banjara’

9) ‘Nah, Naah’

Of the above tracks, the audio of only one song ‘Dil Gaaye Jaa’ has been posted on the internet. The song is available on certain music sites as a paid download. It’s a slow, romantic ballad, and its crude lyrics make the song weak. The bright spot of the song is Ali’s typical singing style which brings grace to the song.

The full album is expected to be released somewhere within October 2009. The video for two songs is rumored to have been filmed and they should be out as soon as the official announcement of the album is made.

PS: Last update: December 1, 2009 – As of December 1, 2009, seven songs have been released from the xsuie album.
