Hero Hunk – A macho bike from the leading two-wheeler manufacturer

Hero Motocorp is one of the world’s leading two-wheelers manufacturers. They had entered the bicycle manufacturing business through a joint venture with Honda, the leading Japanese automaker. The joint venture, called Hero Honda, manufactured and sold bicycles in India and elsewhere. Soon, they became the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India. However, the joint venture came along and after a few years both partners went their separate ways. They continued to make bicycles on their own, under the brands, Hero and Honda.

Consequently, both companies introduced new models, in addition to continuing many of the older models made during the JV days. Contrary to general expectations, Hero Motocorp introduced several new models, as the success story continued even after the joint venture with Honda ended. Consequently, Hero Motocorp introduced the Hero Hunk, a 150cc motorcycle with a daring and masculine look, which became one of the most popular models introduced by the company.

The latest version of the Hunk is an update from its predecessor – it comes with several new additions to the chassis. As his name suggests, the Hunk has a manly touch and is a great performer when it comes to riding. The Hunk is a huge improvement over its predecessor in its looks and styling. The new version of Hunk offers a new digital instrument cluster and disc brakes at the rear.

Other notable features of the newer Hunk include a modified visor, newly styled side panels, tubeless tires, LED taillights, body-colored mirrors, and dominant headlamps, among others. It offers a mileage of around 58 kmpl in urban conditions and an impressive 62 kmpl on highways. The Hunk has a 12.4-gallon fuel tank capacity, making it an ideal vehicle for long trips and off-road adventures.
