What is wrong with the United Nations Agenda 21 program? Sustainability is a good thing, right?

When the United Nations talks about ‘sustainability’, people listen, governments listen or politicians at all levels listen and say; That sounds like a very good idea. But, dare I ask; It is? Is it a good idea to have some kind of global government overseer telling us best management practices to keep us as efficient as possible, using the latest clean technologies? Suggesting things we can do to improve and usher in a new era of global socialism.

Well, they may have fooled the next generation with their educational indoctrination, but they haven’t fooled me. Let’s break this down, as it’s a common topic of conversation in our think tank.

A big problem I have with Agenda 21 or Venus Project type concepts with all their perceived efficient strategies is that many master planned communities fall short and turn to rural areas far and wide to supply their “city-state” (in some cases sanctuary cities) so to speak.

Take New York City (NYC) as an example, which now draws almost all its fresh water from upstate rivers, and energy from outside the city, food from the Midwest, is hardly what the socialist elite most of its intellectual designs are not called “sustainable” by the left, it looks good in practice (on paper), but it doesn’t work as well as advertised in the real world; there are always problems with behavior (crime) when you gather too many rats (humans) too close together; okay, the same thing happens with locusts and rats when their populations get too dense.

Without the resources these cities draw from vast distances, they become the worst human slums known to mankind. Big cities tax civilization for their necessities, rural voters pay for bus systems, infrastructure, power systems, downtown water depletion, and then rural areas are faced with urban heat islands that they change weather patterns that harm agriculture to feed the masses in urban areas who hate them. It does not work.

Agenda 21 and the entire UN is run by elitists who are frankly not as smart or the intellectual technocrats they claim to be, I think there must be a real problem with brain fog due to ambient noise and air pollution, pollution of frequency, socialist brainwashing. They have big plans, but they just won’t work, and then they double down on more brilliant ideas, almost like the inventor who proclaims “free energy” but can never produce it.

And I don’t want to get negative here, but I would like to see a plan that is actually doable, otherwise what we have is the opposite of the Means-Ends Debate on that; If you do everything fairly, but do not achieve the desired ends, then it is all a waste of time, which is actually worse than violating ethics in the means to obtain the desired ends.

But either way, these concepts floated around until now, be it from WFS, Technocrats, UN Habitat, DESERATEC TREC, etc. they are nice concepts in planning and full of ideas, but no reality check. And don’t get me wrong, the Venus Project is “obviously” the smartest way to build a city, and it makes sense, but there’s so much more to the needs of a human ant farm. Please think about this.
