Why do you want to be an entrepreneur?

Most discussions start with the question: “How can you be an entrepreneur?” and “What do you have to do to be a successful entrepreneur?” but the first question to ask yourself is “Why do you want to be an entrepreneur?” Do you really want to be an entrepreneur? Is this the first question anyone should ask themselves before thinking of starting any business venture? This is the moot question. And yes, first of all you would have to understand who is an entrepreneur. What is entrepreneurship per se?

The word entrepreneur comes from Latin. Enter-enter; pre-before; neuro-nervous center. Taking its derivation, we could understand the entrepreneur as someone who enters the nerve center of a business that no one had entered before and then makes changes in it that result in a paradigm shift in the entire process. An entrepreneur is one who is willing to take risks in any business venture. Entrepreneurship is the art of finding an opportunity and then pursuing it to success. As a saying goes, “bright people also see the same things as others, but they see things that others don’t.” It’s the same with contractors too. They come up with ideas that others don’t think of and that’s why they are successful.

Another term that has found a lot of popularity in recent times is that of techno-entrepreneur. Well, a techno-entrepreneur could be understood as an entrepreneur in a business related to technology. In general, it is seen that a techno-entrepreneur generally has some kind of patentable intellectual property rights that they commercialize and make a profit from it. Techno-entrepreneurship is a term that is generally used for software companies.

Now let’s talk about our previous question. Why entrepreneurship? Why are you thinking of being an entrepreneur? Do you really want to be an entrepreneur or is there some kind of compulsion to be an entrepreneur? Is it because you don’t have any work or are you currently without a job? There are many who go into the field because that is what their father and ancestors have been doing. Well, after all, it’s your family business. And there is another category that interests me more. It is one in which people say they want to be an entrepreneur for the simple reason that they want to be an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is in his blood.

It’s up to you to ask yourself. Why do you want to be an entrepreneur? I would like to tell you one thing. Entrepreneurship can really be very rewarding, but this is very big, but it’s very risky and it’s not easy. Until and unless you are ready to fight to the end, your chances of success are very limited. If you are fed up with your daily office routine and want to try your hand at entrepreneurship, then let me tell you that the time you would have to spend on your own company would be much more. The effort you would have to make would be much greater than what you have been doing. There has never been any shortcut to success and there never will be. But yeah, when you really do succeed, the rewards make up for it all.

The open avenues are many, but you would have to make the right decisions. Today’s time offers you opportunities where you can make money and make a mark for yourself without investing too much capital. Yes, we are in the era of “mini-entrepreneurs”, where anyone and everyone can start their own business.
