It doesn’t matter if you use pick up lines to meet women or if you just collect them to trade with your friends, there are some that are so cheesy and stupid that you should leave them where you found them. This list of 5 cheesy conversation lines is a good example.
Number 5 “May I have your phone number? Looks like I’ve lost mine.”
While this one isn’t really that bad, it is a great example of a cheesy chat line and should never be used to meet a woman. Any self-respecting woman would laugh in your face and not in a good way either. Any woman who gives you a number after you’ve said this cheesy pick-up line has probably given you the number to a pizza place.
Number 4 “Do you believe in love at first sight or should I drop by again?”
This isn’t really a rude chat line either, but it still deserves to be here. This pick up line says a lot about the man who would use it. Mainly that he is an arrogant jerk. Using this one could get him to slap you.
Number 3 “Excuse me, I think you owe me a drink.”[She says, “Why?”] “Because when I saw you from across the room, your beauty surprised me, so I dropped mine.”
While this line looks good at first glance, it’s never a good idea to ask a woman you just met or are trying to meet for a drink. Changing it to “Excuse me, the stunning beauty of her made me drop my drink so I need to buy a new one anyway and I was wondering if I could offer you one too.” It’s still pretty cheesy and sad, but it’s a little better with the change.
Number 2 “Is your last name Gillette? Because you are the best a man can have.”
Any man who would use a TV commercial to pick up women deserves to be the male equivalent of a cat lady. Truth be told, this one isn’t even worth sharing with your friends.
Number 1 “Do you come here often?”
What can be said about this line that hasn’t been said when Columbus sailed across the blue ocean? This cheesy conversation is so old that the dinosaurs told it to each other. If you can’t come up with a better line, then you should give up and join a monastery.
