Bible verses of God’s plan of salvation: hope of God

Understanding God’s grace and freedom for us

We believe that our greatest HOPE comes when we know that we are loved and that our future is assured.

This is the story of the Bible. God loves you and has prepared a place for you in heaven. And you can receive the gift of salvation by believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

There is great freedom in accepting the gift of salvation because there is nothing you can do to earn your way to heaven. Jesus gives it freely to all who believe in him. The God of the universe humbled himself to death on a cross to pay the price for all our sins. Why would he do that? Because he wants a relationship with you forever. You are so important!

To fully understand this beautiful story of salvation in Jesus Christ, here are some key verses from the Bible:

God saves us because he loves us

John 3: 16-17 – For God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life. Because God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save it through him. John 3: 16-17

1 Timothy 1:15 – Here’s a reliable saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst. 1 Timothy 1:15

Romans 5: 8 – But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5: 8

Jesus is the only way to be saved

John 14: 6 – Jesus replied: “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Acts 4: 11-12 – This Jesus is the stone that you, the builders, rejected and who has become the cornerstone. And there is no salvation in any other, because there is no other name under heaven given to men in which we can be saved.

2 Corinthians 5:21. Christ never sinned, but God put our sin on Him. Then we are justified with God because of what Christ has done for us.

Ephesians 2: 1-10 – As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit that is now working in the disobedient . All of us also live among them at the same time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following their desires and thoughts. Like everyone else, we naturally deserved anger. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, gave us life with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions; it is by grace that you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, so that in the centuries to come he might display the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his goodness to us in Christ Jesus. Because by grace you have been saved, by faith, and this is not yours, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. Because we are God’s work, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Titus 3: 5 – He saved us, not by works that we did in righteousness, but according to his mercy, by the washing of regeneration and the renewal of the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 10:22 – Let us go directly into the presence of God with sincere hearts and fully trusting in him. Because our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with the blood of Christ to cleanse us, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

God’s plan of salvation from the book of Romans:

Romans 3:23 – Because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23 – The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10: 9-10 – If you declare with your mouth: “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Because it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Romans 10:13 – For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Pray these things from your heart

If you want this hope, you can pray right now to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It does not need to be written in a script. Just pray these things from your heart:

Admit that you are a sinner in need of forgiveness.

Confess your sins.

Thank you for the death of Jesus on the cross that paid the price for those sins.

Ask him to be the Lord of your life.

If it helps, here is an example of what you could pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I’m sorry for the bad things I did. Please forgive me. I believe that your Son died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead, and that is why I will enter heaven when I die. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I willingly give you my life. Now, father, help me to do your will. Thanks again for saving me! In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

If you have said this prayer, congratulations! There is much rejoicing in heaven!
